CES 2024 Exhibits, Booths, And Stages
2024's "Consumer Electronics Show" (CES) landed in Las Vegas, Nevada, delivering what we've all come to expect from the premiere showcase of tomorrow's technology today. Of course, the production is made all the more spectacular with global and start-up brand managers alike creatively vying for the media spotlight. LG's booth alone has become a mainstay event year over year, upping the stakes for marketing teams from around the world who attend the venue with the hopes of standing out in a sea of competition. In this way, CES is not only about a showcase of technology but also a showcase of showcase technologies too. Let's take a look at what show attendees got to see this January...
The New Honda 0 Concept Cars (Double-Stacked)
This year, Honda Motor's brand team wanted to highlight their sporty yet sensible lineup of electric car concepts, demonstrating not one, but two near-product-ready designs. First, their Space-Hub passenger transport concept... sleek, yet roomy and spacious, suitable for families. Second, their Saloon... a sporty answer to the EV lifestyle... stylish and elegant, powerful and stunning. With Smartstage's logistics team, Honda was able to lock down two 6 meter (19 foot) revolving turntable stages for CES. While we have a wide range of heavy-duty revolving stages on hand, their team wanted a custom, low-profile 24" high platform and we were happy to make that vision come to life for the convention.
Their pair of custom revolves came complete with data slip rings,
DMX (and wireless) control , onboard power, and sub-9 cabling. In true turnkey fashion, the team was also able to source all of their staging needs from Smartstage, including multi-level viewing stages and camera risers, as well as TV truss stands with truss sleeves for their monitors. And because we're headquartered just 15 minutes from the
Las Vegas Convention Center (or
LVCVA), our team was able to deliver everything on site and on time. When it comes to events as important as CES (but really, any brand's showcase opportunity), how you stage the show matters... and we thrive on making venues great.
Sumitomo Tire Took Stage With a Ford Mustang EV
To say that Sumitomo's exhibit booth was stunning would be an understatement. Their brand team went all out at this year's CES gathering, starting with an elevated circular stage to accommodate an impressive Ford Mustang EV, then pin-striping the impact with vinyl-covered flooring, a round shroud, and an LED panel screen depicting the motion of both the engine and wheel components. While our team has been offering a vast catalog of customizable stage configurations for over 50 years, we still marvel at the beautiful combinations and configurations still possible for exhibit booth designers and those managing arena or convention center displays for brands.
Impact, Impact, Impact
It's all about show impact. And no one knows staging like the team here at Smartstage. From small 0.8 meter product displays (like those used to showcase ClearTouch's powerful educational solutions above) to heavy-duty 6 meter, 7 meter, or even 9 meter (29 foot) revolving stages, we've got you covered. In a jam and want to replace or augment your current booth last-minute to get a visual edge on your competition? We're right here in town.
