Formula 1 kicked off into high gear

Formula 1's Las Vegas racing event in downtown Las Vegas brought fast cars, a new venue, and a wealth of opportunity for the entertainment community to come together to help host this amazing event. The Platinum Hotel & Spa was no exception, and together with Smartstage's portable stage rentals, onlookers got a view like no other in the city. The Platinum Hotel team wanted a special experience for their guests, and the longest straight run of the track was indeed best viewed from the rooftop of the hotel. Converting the rooftop space to a venue in itself is where Smartstage stepped up to help.

Small space, BIG vision

The rooftop provided a stellar view of the track, however it was going to be a tight pre-assembly fit with the elevators and hallways leading to the ideal space above. With the race date closing in, Smartstage's team was tasked with decking out the ultimate viewing platform... and our team delivered. Together with The Platinum Hotel team's vision, guests were invited to sit comfortably atop a Smartstage Portable Stage Kit, complete with smooth, yet rugged railing, lighted truss tabletops, and a truss structure framing the auxiliary, televised view of the race.
