In the heart of Las Vegas, the ACT Expo (Advanced Clean Transportation Expo) showcased the very future of sustainable transportation. Featuring over 200 advanced clean vehicles across all weight classes, the event buzzed with debut product launches, new partnerships, and presentations. More than 100 media representatives attended to experience the latest vehicles powered by battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, natural gas, and more. Our team helped by supplying innovative staging hardware, contributing to the event’s success and the seamless presentation of cutting-edge technologies.

ACT Expo Event Highlights

• SCOPE: The largest showcase of advanced clean vehicles available anywhere, spotlighting over 200 vehicles across all weight classes and applications. Three days of world-class media events, featuring vehicle debuts, product launches, and new partnerships.

• IMPACT: The event also featured an impressive lineup of 225+ speakers, providing attendees with valuable insights and knowledge. Mainstage recordings and speaker presentations are available for purchase, allowing those who missed the event to access this wealth of information.

Roush CleanTech and Yamaha's Hydrogen-Powered Boat

Of course, one of the standout exhibits was Roush CleanTech's presentation of Yamaha’s prototype hydrogen-powered boat. This revolutionary vessel embodies the future of clean marine transportation, offering a glimpse into how hydrogen fuel cells can be harnessed for maritime applications. Our staging solutions provided an elevated view, allowing attendees to fully appreciate the innovative design and technology.

Addressing Client Vision with Precision, and Innovation

One of the visions the Roush CleanTech team had in mind was ensuring that their exhibit provided an optimal view of the technology (while maintaining safety for attendees). Our staging solution effectively addressed this by providing a stable, elevated platform that was both secure and inviting. This pedestrian walkway / viewing platform allowed attendees to get an elevated view into the boat’s interior, showcasing its innovative design and technology. It was not just a practical solution; it was a statement of booth / exhibit innovation and sophistication, providing a premiere look at what would become the buzz of the show. Designed to be functional and aesthetically pleasing, the walkway featured a slick industrial appearance (smooth to the touch on the railing, but also safe with our Hexagrip decking), seamlessly blending with the high-tech theme of the exhibit. Despite its small footprint, the platform offered easy access for the elevated vantage point, allowing attendees to fully appreciate the intricacies of Yamaha’s hydrogen-powered boat.

A Standout (and Above) Exhibit

In a sea of advanced vehicle exhibits, Roush CleanTech’s display stood out (and above) with this unique viewing platform, thanks in part to our innovative staging solutions' modular design, configuration, and adaptability. Unlike standard booth designs, this raised pedestrian walkway (built utilizing the modular nature of our FastFold Frames and stage decks along with our variable-height stage stairs and smooth stage guardrail systems, all reconfigured to create a railed viewing platform) added a unique and interactive element that drew extra attention and facilitated a better viewing experience for optimal media coverage. Our efforts didn't go unnoticed. The Roush CleanTech team appreciated the timely installation and the innovative design of the elevated walkway, noting the sleek, clean presentation of the Smartstage components. The team was also impressed with the on-time delivery, the considerate crew, and the speed of our setup and strike, which allowed for a swift and efficient teardown after the event. These compliments underscore our commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality in every project we undertake.

We aided in turnkey design, quickly and easily converting our off-the-shelf modular stage and variable-height stage stairs into a pedestrian viewing platform. This modification of off-the-shelf kits to become something new was very much appreciated and helped in the brand's event success.

We managed both setup and strike services, allowing the client to focus on the event, the attendees, VIP's, and the press while we covered the las Vegas Convention Center's loading dock regulations and requirements.
