The AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, renowned for showcasing world-class beach volleyball talent, embarked on an annual 25-beach national tour. They needed a portable seating system that could travel from one beach to another while maintaining the comfort and safety of their thousands of fans. With high demands for durability and efficiency, Smartstage delivered a custom solution to support the tour’s busy schedule and demanding environment.
Challenge.
AVP Pro Beach Volleyball required a seating system that was not only comfortable for fans but also rugged enough to withstand the unique conditions of outdoor beach venues. The system needed to be easily transportable, as each of the 25 tour stops featured different beach terrains and environmental challenges. Additionally, AVP needed a system that could be quickly set up and disassembled between events without impacting their tight schedule.
Solution.
Smartstage engineered a modular, 6,000-seat portable bleacher system designed specifically for AVP's unique needs. Transported in 12 trailers, this system was easy to install and strike, allowing the AVP tour to keep up with its demanding schedule while providing a comfortable and secure experience for volleyball fans. The modular bleachers were designed to be lightweight yet sturdy.

Smartstage’s portable bleacher system became an essential component of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, making it possible to deliver a consistent and professional seating experience across all 25 locations. By designing a solution that could be quickly deployed and packed down, Smartstage helped the AVP team meet the demands of their national tour without any delays or disruptions.
